

The basement of "The Winemakers Daughters" was the perfect venue for this work. I had subdued lighting which was effective for the projection of the film
Endless Endless 2010 and gave impact to
Deck Stack. The paintings responded well to the low lighting especially as the viewer was forced to observe them from oblique angles which was exactly my intention with these pieces. I wanted the grooves in the painting to be emphasised by light which was much harder to control in Auckland.
