The deck stack is having lights ... I have organised for possible strip or led lights to be shining from inside each deck in the stack. An electrician is doing the work for me so should be very interesting to see then illuminated ... two things the different coloured plastic of the lids and the turning records inside should have an impact on the colour of the light.
Painted disks coming along well nearly finished the second one now, the increasing heat in the studio has caused problems with materials think Im going to have to use oils for the last two.

Whens the deadline Rowan? the layered sounds like layered paint sound interesting. What happens when you run out of turntables to paint on? do you have loads of disks with paint on them? Do they have a stacked presence somewhere? Or are they part of a transporting plan. are you them off somewhere? It's raining here. no work will be done on painting Mum's house today. But my brother has arrived. He's about to transport me to the plant shop. Oh well. there goes my quiet day at home catching up with reading and stuff! Hope the paint is drying well there Rowan. AE

The turntables have a painted record each and they were made specifically for each deck. This time they are being displayed in a stack however previously they have been in circular formats.
They are transportable and translateable and can be easily packaged and sent.
